2018 Property Workshops

This year the Foundation is offering a range of property workshops and advice clinics across England & Wales, on the most important topics for voluntary organisations.

Working with local partner organisations, our Programme offers plenty of interactive learning, useful handouts, a free networking lunch and the chance to book a slot with an experienced property professionals in our confidential advice clinic.

Check below for a workshop coming near you. Most are completely FREE to book, but some do charge a nominal fee to cover venue costs.

Managing Asset Transfers for your Community

In this workshop you will work with real life case studies from similar organisations and interact with other participants using useful course material.
You will:
- Learn what you need from your property to make informed decisions that support your beneficiaries
- Understand the benefits and risks Community Asset Transfers
- Look at different types of ownership – freehold versus lease
- Learn to successfully manage the risks involved in property transactions, Asset or Liability
- Identify opportunities to save money
- Understand the principles of effective maintenance management
