“The Ethical Property Foundation did a great job of giving clarity to a pretty complex legal issue which our other advisers couldn’t help us with because they had never come across it before. EPF set out a common-sense way of how to approach the problem. Made a big difference. “

“I have recently discovered the services offered by the Ethical Property Foundation including the free “Ask a Property Expert” service. I submitted my query through their website and received a very clear, extremely helpful response by the next day. I also attended a free training course which was very informative. I will be using the service again and attending future courses.”

"I first found about Ethical Property Foundation in my previous work role, so knew they were a ‘safe’ place to get guidance. I approached them about a complex ground lease issue our charity was facing. I used the website to log a request, they came back to me very quickly with a response. Due to Ethical Property Foundations response and my other research, I felt I could then go to my trustees with a justified approach to the issue."

Bolton Toy Library, Bolton
"We were recommended by Forever Manchester charity in November 2021 to approach Ethical Property Foundation for legal advice regarding our move into our new premises owned by Bolton Council. The Lease they provided contained a paragraph that implied that we would be financially responsible for the back wall glazed door and full glazed window. We requested David Sayce who advised us that this paragraph should be deleted as it was too much to take on as a Tenant. We informed the Legal Department at the Council, and they are currently re-working the Lease to respect this. I spoke to David on a couple of occasions, and we exchanged emails. He was courteous, efficient, professional, and listened to our concerns, we valued his advice and thanked him for his free time. We are extremely grateful for this free legal service as a small charity like ours would not have the funds to usually consult with Law firms."
